Room generating

Room generating

Choose a type of room (linear,n- shaped, L shaped left and L-shaped right). If there is no chosen kind of room, by default will be generated only FLOOR .

The room  creates as a common block  with a base point located on XYZ = 0. The settings of  room by default (height, layers, wall thickness), are defined and is set by default as general (common) setting in the window Room parameters, which loads by the button Properties. For each premise can be given different walls thickness, if the value is entered in the main dialog of the module at its generating. The premise file name begins with  " TP... " and it is controlled automatically by program. If you want to set a mode of visibility of walls Only floor press again this button, which specifies the current wall visibility  (switch off it). You haven't change the room position in coordinate system after its generating. Generate a room ceiling only if you will add lighting bodies, because the ceiling closes a premise and makes the choice of view  in modes for coloring: Hidden mode and Render drawing with a texture more difficult.  

Merge room walls - When it is active,all walls in the room are one entity, with common layer for rendering. When you turn off the option,every wall and the  floor will have its own layer. Thus, all walls in the room can be rendered in different textures.


You can pregenerate a room in process of creation of the job, defining other visibility of walls or changing some  its characteristics and details. Pregeneration  of a premise makes  from a point on X, Y, Z =0 on the screen, and it can be resulted up to effect of extension or reduction of room depending on change of the sizes on its  axes.

Cancels entered parameters - Cancels the entered in the form values with the purpose to set additional elements of a new room. It uses for creation of a new additional room for cleaning up of the contents in the form and entering of new parameters. Does not clear the fields with the room sizes and its model  (L-shaped , only  BACK or  n - shaped).

Move cabinets in the room

If you change the room sizes in already created drawing, you have to change the position of units in it too. When you change the sizes and in the job have already added units,  the module will require from  you to define in what direction to move the units in it. The suggestion for automatic change of units'  position depend on that on what axes (Length or Depth) you make change of the sizes. If you change length only , the units can be moved only on the left or to the right.  If parameter Depth is increased or is reduced (only it), the moving makes only in depth i.e. to a back wall.  The mixed change moves units in depth and at your choice on the left or to the right.

The change of room height does not change the  units' position. You can check the option Automatic moving of units in the window Room parameters by default. The purpose is to avoid the manual definition of moving direction. Automatically will be chosen  the direction and made the moving of units at generated L.-figurative premises and at changed sizes in depth only.  You have to know  that at decreasing of the room sizes the control about capacity of units in it makes by your estimation.

Applicability of the module is an automatic creation and insertion of additional details: WINDOWS, HOLES, RECESSES, COLUMNS and INTERNAL WALLS during a room generating. Select an option with details. The form on the screen changes and shows you the parameters creating a configuration of  details.  You can add to 12 details to a premise. Definition of details as "Windows" is conditional. Changing the characteristics, you can create each of these details in various variants. The frames of windows are automatically set  on 5 centimetres (cm.) inside in a wall. Completeness and height of frames is 6 centimetres (cm.). Windows' and doors' handles don't generate. They must be added manually.

All elements register their own layers in the drawing for connecting with textures for rendering. The names of layers can be changed for the concrete job (use direct entering of their names into the  fields). They are set with the names by default for each new job.

Glass - Parameter regulates whether  will be generated the glass between frames of windows or not. It is valid for all additional elements generated together with a room. Switch off this parameter always, when you will light up  the project, using remote lighting (sun), whose light will come into a room through its windows and the light source is back of walls (in a view front). The using of a glass texture, even with full transparency, always throws shadows in the premise and in a perspective view can create a deformation of the light ray in the object for glass.

Choose a wall on which you want to add windows, selecting the options which are taking place under the labels left, back, right. Each line is intended for one window or other detail. After a choice of walls add a mark to the right of label "right"  into a field with the help text " Generates a window in a hole of a wall " to receive a window. Otherwise you will receive only hole in a wall or bay depending on entered value for a wall cutting.  If you want to switch off  the addition of window, remove  a mark from the first option at the left with the help text "Cuts out a wall for generation of a window ".

The parameters of the current detail can be copied and transfered to the next element. Copying is made by double clicking the left mouse button on the option for wall,on which the current detail is . Only the parameters from the main dialog of the module are copied: dimensions Length and Height, position toward Floor, value for cutting and Radius of the arc from above in %.  The position from the left of the new detail is defined automatically, based on the length and the position from the left of the selected detail. All the rest parameters of the copied detail have to set manual.

  The pressing of the mouse right button on an option for  windows' generating opens form Window's parameters. Here you can select a creation of a not rectangular shaped window. The choice makes with the mouse left button on the image of shape and saves by Set button.  For exit without saving of the made changes press Cancel. The radiuses of arches are calculated depending on each window dimensions. If subsequently you remove a mark without changing of the entered values, you will receive a hole in the wall with the same form as a window.This allows you to create not rectangular holes in the wall.

Direction of opening -
Here defines the direction and the degree of openning of the window. The window can be with Horizontal, Vertical opening or sliding windows. For windows by horizontal opening it is possible to set additional direction of opening, too.The choice makes by left buton click on the images. The degree of openning sets into the field Angle of openning. It range from 0 to 90 degrees. To each window it is possible to put a handle. The position of the handle depends on a direction of opening of a window. If you  won't puts handles to a window uncheck the option. Each window can be divided on some areas. The number of areas is defined by parameters Number of horizontal frames and Number of vertical frames. The width of frames depend on the parameter  Width of profile.

Position in frame - Defines the distance of the window from the inner edge of  hole in which is installed. Parameter is not applied to windows with specified angle of opening.

Delete- This button cancels the already entered values (makes them 0). The operation is carried out  for each detail personally, irrespective of room model - basic or additional - to which it creates.

Generates a sill under a window - When the option Generates a window in a hole of a wall  is active, together with it  checks automatically the option  Generates a sill under a window, too.The parameters of sills are set in the form Room parameters (Height and Depth of sills, options Round off the sill's top  edges and Distance of windows sills from wall edges. Distance of windows sills from wall edges is that distance , with which the sill "leaves" proportionally from two sides of the window.  For example: If the window is 50 cm.long and value of the parameter is 10cm., you will receive a sill with length 70 cm. which gets out outside of a wall with 10 cm. from its two ends.

It is necessary to have in view that a sill is an independent element. It has own thickness, which lifts a window upwards.Therefore if you want to generate a window with a sill, you must to decrease the total window height with the sill's thickness (this way you will receive the clear window height).

The sills have an own layer. It allows their rendering in different from the windows colour (texture).

Define  for all walls and windows: whether the element Landscape behind glasses of windows will be added. The elements for connecting with textures during colouring the project  for a landscape will be three, one for each wall.  Their position is defined automatically from a mark by default into a field  Day time landscape through windows. At a day time landscape the position of an element for a landscape is directly behind the glass. If the option Day time landscape through windows is not active, the element for a landscape will be at the end of a wall. At colouring the project, when are added light sources and are included shadows, creates  an effect of outside darkness.

Enter the window's sizes (or other detail) and its position in a room. Value for a position from a floor is its  lowermost point on Z. The position of an element at the left defines the end left point of a details on the chosen wall, on which it will lay. The direction of bringing in of points for generating of details, as well as for generating of worktops is: from left - > to the right, on  a direction of a hour arrow. The position of a detail is defined in relation to initial (most left) point of a concrete wall (left, right or back).

 The value  for a cutting of a hole in a wall directly depends on a wall thickness (entered by default) and from that will you place Landscape or not. To receive a hole, enter value for a cutting more than a wall thickness. If the value is less than  wall thickness, you will receive a niche. If you want to place a window with an element for a landscape and niche on the same wall, enter a value for a cutting of a niche into a wall less than 11 centimeters (if an option Day time landscape through windows in the form  Parameters by default  is checked) or 1 centimeter less than wall thickness (if the option is switched off). 

  The value of the parameter Cutting defines a kind of the generated details - holes, niches. You can generate  internal walls (columns) or close the room in front.  For example: addition of a inner walls in the premise. It begins from its left wall and reaches up to the centre of the room.

1. Define column position at the left for the chosen wall (where it will begin).
2. Enter the thickness of a inner wall as  its  length.
3. Set as height of a column the value of the room height. 
4. Into a field Cutting enter the inner wall's length with negative sign.
5. Do not forget to remove a mark from an option Generates window in a hole of a wall.

The entered value in parameter cutting defines the kind of the holes,cut in the walls. You can generate also inner partition walls or you can close the premise at the front, entering negative value for cutting. For example: to put a partition in the room from its left side to its middle, you must define the position of the partition from the left on the wall; you have to enter for the length of the partition a value for its depth and for its height- the room height. Into field cutting you have to enter the length of the partition with negative sign. You also have to check off the options Generates window in the hole of the wall and Generates frame with door in the hole of the wall. This detail may get different layer. To enter a layer, press right mouse button on the field with negative cutting. It opens an extra window, where you can change the layer name, writing directly in the text field. You can change the shape of detail from rectangular to triangle. Check the option Triangular shape, select a shape  using the  buttons below, and if  it's necessary - the radius of rounding. This way you can create bevelled or rounded rooms (premises) without using of other software modules - Additional elements, module New Base and etc.
Ceiling chamferring -Adjusts chamfer under the ceiling. The detail depth defines by the value into the field cutting.


Radius of arch - sets whether will have the created detail an arch from above. Value must be not more than length of a window (detail). The negative values create concave below arch (and the generated element , too). The value "0" does not create an arch (creates a rectangular form).


Generates a frame with a door in a hole of the wall - The option cuts the walls of a room (premise) and generates doors and frameworks to them. The doors and frameworks have an own layer. It allows the operator to connect them with different texture. If you want to change the door position, press the right button on an option and choose other position of a door in the form Position of door in the frame. The window closes automatically after confirmation of the made choice.

Each door can have a different layer.

  Layer of doors , Layer of doors - cills, Layers of  doors' frames- Allows the connection of each door (cills to it too)  with different  layer (and consequently with different texture). The name of a new layer  must be entered into the text field.

Position of door in the frame, Door frame model, Direction of opening - Press the left button of the mouse on a needed image to set an option. Then press Close.

Generates a door in a frame - This option is active by default. If the flag is not checked, will be generated only a frame of door. 

To save the made changes press Set. To cancel them press Close.

Creation of additional rooms and walls

You can add additional rooms (or walsl) to the main one and thus to create more complex designs. In them you can generate holes, niches, windows and doors (similar as a main premise).

When have to make a premise containing 1 main room and some additional, you must generate the main and to put kitchen in it. The kitchen is the most complex part of the project, which has the maximal number of details and requires big accuracy for positioning of the elements. For basic room will be active all automated operations that facilitate and accelerate work (Automatic control for capacity of units in the main room when you generate and define a cabinets' position and module Group addition and deleting of units for automatic generating and addition of doors, fronts and handles to them in the drawing). 

Creation of a new room or walls

Select the options  Additional room or wall and  New additional (simultaneously) to generate a new additional room. Enter all sizes and its other parameters (visibility of walls; additional elements as doors, windows etc.). They are adjusted similarly way as these for the basic room. 

Option Generate floor - Sets  the generating of a room floor. When the option is checked, you will create a premise(room). But if it is not checked you will receive additional wall (or walls - depending on the chosen configuration of walls) only.

Press the button Create.

Correction of already created room

Choose a premise(room) for edition. This can be made by two ways:

1. From the list in the field above the button  Room. Double click of the left mouse button on the room name select it.
2. Press the button Room.  It returns in the project for a choice. Select an object (use the left mouse button). The form with last entered parameters of the specified room (or wall) opens.

Change the settings and press Create.
