The definition Cabinet includes: ordinary cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen shelves and desks too. For such products we have created the specialized module for construction - Cabinet.
The module generates cabinets, automatically creates and adds
the nomenclature their element structure necessary for calculation of
an expenditure of materials during formation of the prices and
cutting. The generated cabinets are saved automatically as
under a service name always beginning with "TS...
" and as addition -the name of the current job.They are
temporary and do
not exist physically on your computer as the other units in the

Define the cabinet sizes - The cabinet dimensions can be established in some ways:
ID number of the Door / Front model for generating -Defines which door / front model to be attached to the cabinet casework at its creation. By default applies the value which is specified in Parameters by default, page Other. But it can be changed for a concrete case. When the mouse cursor passing over the field will be displayed a preview of the chosen model.
- These buttons copy the parameters of the area and paste them on to the other areas of the unit. The existing settings in it will be nullified.Area parameters will transfer to the rest areas for which there are active check from the right of the buttons.
Unifies layers names - When option is enable there will be generated a unit with common name of the layers for coloring all the elements which build it up. If unit has code of uniqueness, it will get itself layers name automatically. In other case the unit will be generated with common layer 'Cabinet'. The purpose is the list with layers for connection with palettes in module Texture libraries to be reduced.Control for capacity - When option is on the generated unit will be dragged in the main premise and will not be positioned outside its overall dimensions nevertheless its rotation. Saves personally for each unit and sets in its editing.
Grain- The status of the option specifies those cabinet's details for which rotation will be allowed by default during the cutting process. Except in the cutting, the state of the option affects to the export files to other applications for nesting (Optimik, Cutting, Giben, Plan IQ, Ardis, Holzher....), too. When the option is checked , the turning of elements or not will depend from the specified by default settings (basic or current).For one-colored materials or when the grain has no direction of texture you can uncheck it. This way will be allowed to revolve all cabinet details / elements. Active by default.
Add Doors / Fronts/, Loads window "Add doors..." - The first checkbox defines whether it is necessary to generate doors on the current unit or not if there are sliding boxes or doors in it. If the second checkbox is included, before their generation will be loaded the module Addition of doors/ fronts and handles for the purpose of editing of doors' settings . In the other case the doors will be directly set to the cabinet.
Fixed price - the option sets generating unit with measure pieces and fixed price for the whole unit. Element nomenclature for separate elements doesn't create, one common with measure pieces only . Created element nomenclature connects with material with measure pieces and set price in module Price offer. Therefore, the unit can not participate in the cutting, but in price formation only. For units with a fixed price a unique code can not be entered.
|The Preview shows in a schematic view the cabinet on the base of the current configuration of its parameters. You can choose a view type (perspective, front, south- west, south - east). The Preview button loads an actual view of created unit. Right mouse click on the loaded preview maximizes it, and re-clicking on the large image makes it small again.|
Defines a construction of the cabinet's elements.
Mitre joint - The option activates the beveling of edges of details /end panels, bottom, top, additiotnal details, back panel, linear undivided base/ under angle 45 degrees and creation of units of "miter joint"design. The beveling has its own settiings by default. If you want to edit them, load the working window of the selected detail and click on Mitre joint . Enabled in Design Sintez Professional.
Lifts the LEFT (RIGNT) panel on bottom - The option is active for construction End panels overlap the bottom and top.It is recommendatory to use it when the option Generates baseboards between partitions in the form Baseboard is not sellected.
Edgebanding - This option specifies the ending of the seen details' sides. It sets an automatic ending of the seen sides of the cabinet top, bottom, end panels, rails and shelves.Right mouse click on the option will load an window where you can change the settings of the edgebanding (thickness, reducing sizes of the details, overmeasures) for all items at the same time of the current unit. The change sets only for the current unit. For the next cabinet generating the default settings will set again.
If the option is checked, together with the cabinet there will be created its element nomenclature, too. The element nomenclature surves for the elements (materials) calculation. The way of creation and work with the nomenclatures in the module Cabinet are identical with the description the module Price offer. When the units are generated, operations are executed automatically. The nomenclatures, which were created are supervised by the program. The additional elements connects to the cabinet for generating (only as nomenclatures) in the module Cabinet, section (button) Parameters by default.
The creation of the element nomenclature of the generated cabinets need time. If they are not necessary, remove a mark from this option.
Thickness of elements
parameters specify the thickness of cabinet elements (bottom, top, left
and right panel, shelves
and back panel). The entered values are active
current generating and you can edit them by entering of new values.
Deleting the value in the
restores the set
in the window Parameters
by default -->page Others, the values
kind of the materials, which constitute the detail by double
thickness, is defined from the selected option in section Kind
of the material element nomenclature - Identical or Different. If you
select Identical, will be
created two equal element nomenclatures
for the material. If you select Different,
will be generated
two single nomenclatures for the two materials, which constituted
generated detail. The first will be the basic element nomenclature (for
example Cabinet top 18mm).The
second element nomenclatute will include
the basic element nomenclature + the
entered code into the
denotation for the inner (for example: Cabinet top inner
18mm). The creating of different element nomenclatures
connect these two elements with different materials from Nomenclature
materials at price formation and cutting.
On the cutting map - In this case when the option Identical is selected , the two single details will be edgebanded. For details with different element nomenclature for the two materials, will be edgebanded only the basic detail. The edgebands of the inner detail will be not displayed.
Activating the option Adds overmeasure to the sizes of elements you add the value of the overmasure Increases the sizes of elements when doubling thickness and quantity to the element nomenclature of details (the value defines in the window Parameters by default, page Others). The overmeasure is applied only to rectangular details at pricing and all related to it reports (incl. cutting map). It doesn't increase the quantity of the edgebands' element nomenclatures.

Exploded view - Activates the execution of the screen report Exploded view. Right click over the option loads window Parameters by default, page Exploded view, which contains the settings of the screen report.
Dimensioning - Loads the operation dimensioning of whole unit or dimensining of its single detail (bottom, top, end panels, partitions, shelves, additional details). The inclusion or not of the edgebands in the specifications in the whole unit dimensioning depends on whether the check box Ending is enabled or not.The dimensioning of the single cabinet details is enabled in version Design Sintez PRO.
Fixes on Z - Defines a position of the unit (height from the floor level) depending on entered value (point of intercepting to other units does not matter). The value by default is "0".
The option is active if the chosen design is End panels overlap the bottom and top. Puts a top above the end panels, keeping the bottom position between them. In this case the element nomenclature of all elements will be changed . It influences to the end panels, partitions and edgebands to them.
The option is available only when the joint is The bottom and top overlap the end panels and moves the top between end panels. The height of the end panels increases with the top thickness.
The option ignores the generating of the chosen element as 3D element in the drawing (including its element nomenclature). To cancel an element, press the appropriate button. Press again button to permit the generating of the switched off element. When you switch off an element, all others, connected to it, condense thickness of the missing element up to the external dimension of the cabinet. The prohibition of elements activates other options and marks: for facing with edgeband the exposed elements.
Normal - Generates a cabinet withotut legs and baseboard.
Layers of elements - Before start the generation of an unit you have to define the layers of its elements. It can be made in the form, entering their names in fields for layers. The inconvenience in this case is that for each generated unit you have to connect group of elements to a layer again. The names of layers of the generated elements can be entered into section Parameters by default . The entered names will be set as current automatically. The new layers are created automatically with colour of a layer white. At a new cabinet generating the layers by default are set as current, and the new ones in the drawing will be created.
Group name - The entered into the field parameter registers the generated unit as a part of common selected group, which include one or some cabinets and the attached to them doors and handles. The group name can be changed or deleted at cabinet editing if there are not other registered in the group units. Double click into the field makes the entered name an unique code for the cabinet too (if there isn't already entered).
Code for unit uniqueness - Allows the operator to generate units with the unique element nomenclature and layers in the project. Enter the text into a field. This adds automatically to the names of unit element nomenclatures. The names of the element nomenclatures will be = "code" + " a name of the element ". For example: the word "cherry" is entered into a field Code for unit uniqueness. Then the generated unit will have the following names for the element nomenclatures and layers: cherry LEFT PANEL, cherry RIGHT PANEL, cherry - EDGEBAND ON Y SIDES and ect. The unique codes for all units in the drawing are contained in the drop-down list from which they can be selected and to not have to enter the same code each time when necessary.
Code of uniqueness... + Added numbering to the code of uniqueness (the option before the field) -If the option before the field is checked, then all codes of uniqueness will have consecutive number. The numbering position - in front or back- is set in the window Parameters by default, page Other.Right mouse click into the field removes the entered code and the ordinal number of the cabinet in the job becomes an unique code. - 1,2,...
