Furniture design software DESIGN SINTEZCabinets - Generated multielement unitsAdditional details - parametersThis
is not a drawer's front. In this case the word "front" means
an
additional cabinet detail (panel) . It generates
together
with the cabinet and can create an own element nomenclature and layers.
The
unit of measure is set for each detail separately. For
elements with a
unit of measure l.m. can be selected on what axis to calculate
its
nomenclature. Their sizes and position can be set by entering of
distances.
Press the mouse left button and select a flag Add detail. Enter
its parameters. The available options are:Vertical - Creates a vertical element to a cabinet. The values of parameters Distance below and Distance from above adjust its height and position, and parameters Left distance and Right distance - its length. The positive values decrease and the negative increase its sizes. If you have not entered values for distances, the detail will be generated on the cabinet full face. The values Distance in front and Distance behind set an element position on the cabinet depth direction. Horizontal- Creates a horizontal element. Its parameters are:
If you have no entered distances, the element will be generated on the full sizes of the cabinet's bottom base point.
Checkbox Saves distance and size of a
detail and Scales
the distance depending on the current cabinet dimension -
These two options have a mutually supplemented function. Their
combination allow you to save the position and the size of additional
details after changing the dimensions of the created unit.
For
example: We
have a cabinet with
sizes Length = 100cm., Height = 70 cm. and Depth = 50cm. Let's create an
additional detail with these distances: Left distance = 10 cm. and Right
distance = 5 cm.
The result is an element 85 cm. long. Select the checkbox Saves distance and
size of a detail
for the Left
distance. For the Right
distance check Scales the distance
depending on the current cabinet dimension.
Let's
change the cabinet's length on 150cm. Here what result is received:1. The detail doesn't change its left position (Left distance remains 10 cm.) and length (85 cm.) 2. The Right distance recalculates and becomes 150-10-85=55 cm. If these options are changed we will receive: Length = 85 cm., Right distance = 5 cm. The Left distance becomes 150-5-85= 60cm. If the option Scales the distance depending on the current cabinet dimension is checked for one distance only , then the size of the additional element and this distance will be changed proportionally to the edited cabinet sizes. For example: Let's generate a cabinet with height 75cm. We create a vertical additional element to it with distance from below 10cm. and an active option Scales the distance depending on the current cabinet dimension. The element's height becomes 65cm. Let's change the cabinet height on 90 centimetres. The coefficient of the size changing will be 90/75= 1.2. The element distance from below becomes 1.2*10=12cm., and its height - 1.2*65 = 78 cm. If the checkbox Scales the distance depending on the current cabinet dimension is checked for 2 opposite distances, the scaling will be executed for these two distances and for the detail's size. For example: We have a cabinet with: Lenght = 100 cm., Left distance=5 cm. and Right distance = 5 cm. The element's lenght becomes 90cm. Let's change the cabinet length on 200 cm. The coefficient of size changing is 200/100=2. The entered distances become 2*5=10 cm., and the detail's length becomes 2*90=180 cm.
The initial form of each detail is rectangular. But it can be changed. Press the button Edit form. A new window opens. Here you can create non-rectangular shapes and to save them in a library. The way of work here is similar to that in the form Construction settings - Top. The possible deviation at calculation of the edgeband's quantity for non-standard shapes is 5-10 % (with positive or negative sign). Rotation - Here you can set an rotation angle of the additional detail. The rotation makes in two directions:
The created element can get holes in it. Their number and sizes depend on the entered into the fields Number of holes and Radius values. The layer of an element is also a layer of a hole's edgeband. They don't generate an element nomenclature. The Preview
shows the cabinet in a schematic view. The button becomes active if
there is an active additional detail. The active in the moment detail
is shown in red colour, and the others - in blue. Always shows preview after parameter editing - When the option is active, any changes of the detail parameters will be displayed in the preview. For this it must be active (Preview button opens it). Cancels entered parameters -Restores the parameters of the current additional detail in mode by default. The operation is a personal for each detail and requires confirmation. |
