Sets v.1

The complete set is a set  from one or some cabinets , doors and handles to them, saved as template. This template can be loaded and generated in each other drawing.


Creation of a  set

Enter the name of  combination and if its necessary - any explanatory text to it. The button Choice of unit from the drawing becomes active.  Press it and specify the first unit for addition , pressing  the left mouse button on it. The selection begins with this unit of the set, which has the lowest and most left located base point. Then press button Adds unit to a set. The name of added unit is shown in the list taking place below it. By a similar way specify the other units and add them in the list. You can save an icon to a set. It will be shown in when the set is selected in the list. The icon creates similarly as those for the units from the library in the module Insert units with the difference that the image is saved in a directory acad_pic \ KOMPLEKTI \ Set working directory.

Select an element and press the button Deletes unit from a set to delete it.

select view - This button allows to change a view for better visibility of objects for rotation. Right click on the image loads all possible views. Left click on a concrete view sets it in the jobs. The repeated right click on a tape with views closes it. It's applicable for single and group selection of units.

Unites the units of set in group - When the option is checked will be generated a set which include units in it in common selectable group. Basic characteristic of this kind of group is that the selection of its separate member selects all set in which it participate. The purpose is fast and simple performance of screen operations. The group selection during operations moving (operation Unit position), rotation (operation Unit rotation) and mirror turningof the whole set makes only by button Group selection of units in the drawing. The replacement of doors or handles by the module Group addition and deleting of units does not break association of group.
When the option isn't checked, all the units from the set will be generated as singly selectable objects. In this case all screen operations will be executed separately for each unit of the set.

At last press the button Save a set. Each  set can contain up to 497 units.

Group selection of units

The clicking of Group selection of units in the drawing hides the window and you return in the drawing to select a group of units to be added to the set. The selection of units is made by a single selection or by selecting an area of the screen. The right mouse button clicking confirm the made choice and return in the window to load the selected items. To add all the units in the list, click Add to set. To add a single unit highlight a row (or rows) from the list and press the same button.

Edit a comlete set -Loads the selected complete set for editing. It can be used to save an existing set under a new name. If the set is included in a library,you can use double-click in the list  or right mouse button click to activate it.  To save the made changes press button  Save a set.

Insert of a set

Already created set will appear in the list  Sets list.  Specify a row in it and press the button Create set. If the complete set is included in library, you can use a double click in the list or right click of the button of the mouse. The list can be sorted in the alphabetic order (press the left mouse button on the heading of column Name of set ). Press the left mouse button on the working screen and specify the insertion point.The insertion makes on the position on Z of the first unit of the set (it have to be generated by module Cabinet). The position of the next units in the set calculates on a base of the position of the first one.

Attention! The set creates and inserts only if the job is in view top.

Stops the generating for editing - This option opens windows with parameters of the units for edition and repeated generating.  If you want to receive a copy with different (new) element nomenclature and layers, you must change their names during the editing.

Libraries with sets

The saved sets can be distributed in libraries and sublibraries.

Creation of library and sublirary - To add a new library click on Create new library and enter its name into the field  under the row with the small buttons.  Sublibrary  creates by the same way but at first have to select main library and to click on the button Create new sublibrary.  To save the new library (or sublibrary) click on the button Save (with diskette).  If you want to change the name of library or sublibrary, select it in the list and enter the new name into the field. After that click on button  Save.

Adding sets to library  / sublibrary - Select the library / sublibrary and click on Test for undistributed sets in libraries. Select these sets from the list, which you want to add and click on Registers the selected sets in the selected library.

Deleting of sets from library / sublirary - Load the library and specify the sets for removal. Click on button Delete set from library.  The removed sets will be added to group of undistributed sets on libraries

Deleting of  library / sublirary - Select library and click on button  Delete library. The included in the deleted library / sublibrary sets will be included again in the folder with undistributed sets and they can be added again in other libraries.

Exchange (export and import) of sets - You can do  transfer of one or several saved sets from one working place to another. The  sequence of operations is:

  1. Export of sets - Copy the folder/ folders of those sets which you want to export to another working place. You can find them in the software working folder, subfolder  KOMPLEKTI (...acad_pic\KOMPLEKTI).
  2. Import of sets - Paste the copied folders into a subfolder (... acad_pic\KOMPLEKTI) on a workplace - receiver.
  3. Restart Design  Sintez
  4. These sets can be edited, generated and deleted from the list in a same way as the others in the list.
