Generated units

Kitchen worktops and sinks

Module generates in  current job worktops with different  shape , with or without sink.  It is creating element nomenclature for the purposes of the price offer formation. Putting worktops is basic operation at preparing jobs for kitchen furnishing and bar worktops.

For normal work , you must have entered parameters by default such as: layers names and element nomenclatures of the single elements, additional elements etc. The parameters by default are set  in a similar way  as in module Cabinet. It is necessary to have the entered record "TM" with a unit of measure "package" in the Units register.

Before you generate the worktop , you have to set its basic parameters, namely:
1. Overall dimensions of the unit (length ,height, depth).
2. If the worktop and elements toward it will  participate  in price offer formation, option Creates element nomenclature must be active. The worktop creates its own element nomenclature in unit of measurement "l. m. " and the sink – in piece. If you want to create vertical panel or/ and plinths (without wortop) check the option Don't place worktop.
3. Enter  Fixed position toward  floor of the generated worktop. Position is set towards down left point of the worktop.
4. Worktop width and thickness ,if these by default are not suitable.
5. Activate option Bilateral profile if the worktop must be rounded at the two sides. If option is not active ,worktop will be rounded only in its facial part.
6. If toward worktop will be generated plinth, define its kind and position in the section Add plinths. If the plinths have to create an element nomenclature, the option Create element nomenclature (it is placed in the upper left corner) have to be checked.
7. Adding vertical worktop - choose position by options left,  right and  back. In upper right corner of the section there are described width / thickness of the worktop. To change them , press the button to the right. In the open dialogue set new values and save them.

8. Choose sink model and sink mixer to it. If you don’t want to have a sink, activate option  Don’t  add sink.Enable the option Create element nomenclature in section Sink to create an element nomenclature for the built-in sink. The sink are two basic types - for installation Above worktop and Under worktop. Each group is activated by the same named options and is listed by buttons - pointer for preview and choice of the model. The   choice is doing  with left mouse  button over the icon of the respective model. Every sink has set own dimensions and position.

  • Dimensions of the chosen sink - Allows to change dimensions of the chosen sink for building-in , depending on your specific necessaries. Original sink  dimensions are written as text over every one. At changing original sink dimensions , you must have in mind that their constructing details will  change , depending on change extent of dimensions. To restore original dimensions of the chosen sink again, click the button Set original sink dimensions.
  • Section Sink  position - allows automatically sink positioning in right, left end of the worktop or in its centre.
    Left distance and  Distance on the right - These parameters set the distance of the sink from the unit edges.
    Back distance -Defines the distance between sink and back worktop edge .
  • Choice of sink mixer and its position compared to the sink- The sink mixer is selected by left mouse button click  on its image. Its position is defined in section Sink mixer position. If you don't want to insert it, check the option Don't place sink mixer.  Each sink mixer creates own element nomenclature and participate in price calculation of  the job. (for this purpose enable the option Create element nomenclature in section Sink mixer).

9. Click Create to create unit in the job. In the job with left mouse button specify its base point position. For base point of generated unit is taken front down left point. At large jobs, you can scale an area for better visibility and vice versa (buttons with magnifier) to make visible the whole job on the screen.

 The edition of the cabinet's sizes with module "Change sizes of unit "  will obtain an disproportion of its elements and sink. To change the sizes, you have to generate the cabinet again  or to use the operation Unit correction.

Worktop edgebanding - In section Edgebanding can determine which side of the worktop to be edgebanded. Set edgebanding applies only for the purposes of calculating the necessary materials and calculation of the price offer formation. They are not visible in the job.

Width of wall panels for left; right and back wall - Specifies the height of wall panels which cover the room walls without the columns in it. The value in a field Width of wall panels of room columns is applied to columns.

Thickness - Defines the current thickness of the wall panel.

Distances in front for left and right worktop - Define distance in front for the respective vertical worktop. Positive values decrease its length and negative increase it.
When the option Apply the spaces for the plinths too  is active , the length of plinths will equalize with the vertical top length. If option is off, the plinth length will be defined by the overall dimensions of the unit  , without having in mind the distances of vertical tops.

Left distance and distance from the right (for rear wall panel)  -  Define with how much to decrease or increase the worktop length for the respective side. Positive values decrease worktop length and negative - increase it. The distance can be measured using buttons to the left from fields and then to specify in the drawing the two end points, which define it.

Applies parameters of room's columns - The option allows to add wall panels and plinths on columns which are taking place in left and / or the right corner of a room.  The options Left corner и Right corner define which column to be covered (when enabled) and which not (when unabled).The options are enabled at initial loading of  window  Wall panel settings.

Front distance for left and right wall panel - Defines the distance inside for the respective wall panel. Decreases the length of the wall panel, too.The distance can be measured using buttons to the left from fields and then to specify in the drawing the two end points, which define it.

Behind the horizontal worktop - When the option is checked, the wall panel will stand behind the wall panel, not above it. If there is a left /  right wall panel, the length of the horizontal worktop will decrease by their thicknesses.

Button Save saves the made changes, and Cancel closes the window without saving.  

Rounding - Beveling of the worktop's ends

The button opens a dialog that allows you to change the form of the worktop ends. By default the form is rectangular. The entered radius  of rounding defines the  protruding of the rounded sector. The zero values create beveled sectors.

The Rounding/ Beveling can be executed simultaneously for left and for right side of the worktop. The option for changing of the front edges'  shape is active by default.  If you want to round/ bevel the back edges of the worktop, you have to check the options Chamfered in section Back for the concrete side.

The options Rounds off the left side of the worktop and Rounds off the right side of the worktop automatically set a bilaterally rounded worktop (the parameters are in a mode by default). The entered values in the sections Radius for rounding define the radius of the all 4 edges. The automatically loaded values of the parameters can be changed (just enter the new values into the fields).  The worktop shape can be made a rectangular or chamfered without rounding, too.

Besides at the ends, worktop can be rounded or bevelled and in its facial part. Values in the row above (pink  fields) sets position of points at depth of worktop, as the distance is set toward its front left point. These, in the fields below define distance between two next points on worktop length. Positive radiuses create convex and negative-concave arc. In the shown illustration will be generated S-figurative worktop with length 240 cm., that contains three areas: first is convex with length 90 cm ,second area is with length 60 cm. and concave form and third is convex with 90 cm. length.
Doesn’t create shape -  When option is active, the made settings will inactive and will be generate rectangular worktop, without nullifying existing parameters. When option is off , they will load automatically and you will not have to enter them again. When is off and option Bilateral profile in main dialogue of the module is active , the set shape of worktop face side will transfer the same to its rear side and you'll get worktop with equal form of the two sides.

Creation and work with templates

  The module supports a system for saving and review of the saved templates (constructions). The already saved templates can be loaded again at any time. It is recommendatory to create templates for the most frequently used constructions.

Saving template

Save template - Save the current parameters of the cabinet as a template - Opens the window Templates for saving a new template. It saves already configured constructions of units for generating, which can be used subsequently. Enter the template name. All parameters, in this number  the layers' names are saved.When you save a template, you can add an explanatory text to it  (enter it into the field  Text to the template). You can create and save an icon to the template  for preview. You have to save the image in a directory (folder) C:\acad_pic\SHABLONI_PLOT_MIWKAunder the  template's name. For more concrete information read the theme  Icon creation -step by step. The duplication of the  names of the templates is not allowed.

Every template saves  together with the names of the element nomenclatures to it. These nomenclatures are unique for a concrete template. If in a consequence you load this template again, the cabinet will be generated, using the entered names of the nomenclature elements for the purposes of the price offer formation and the cutting. The uniqueness of a template has relation with the current names of the elements' layers, too.

Loading template

load templateShows the register of templates to select  - Opens  dialog  Templates , that  contains register of all saved constructions. To load the template, choose it in the list and press Set. Its parameters load in the dialog , replacing the existing settings. To delete a template  , choose it in the list and press button Delete.  At deleting template is deleting and its picture  , if there is such.

Text to the template -In this field you can enter an explanatory text to a template or to edit an already existing one. The changes are saved  by clicking  the button Correction of the text to the  template.

The saved templates can be loaded directly in the module  Insert units.
